Sealed Motors

The EMGR pot motors are designed for use under extreme conditions and are suitable for the highest requirements. They are available in the three series DT, ET and ETW. These are completely enclosed, waterproof motors without fans. They all have the highest degree of protection and can withstand the most adverse environmental conditions. Their simple, robust design and high-quality components ensure high operational reliability, freedom from maintenance and a long service life. Typical applications for EMGR pot motors include washing plants, textile machines, beverage and bottling plants, sewage treatment plants and many more.

Technical information

Our following modular system allows you to easily modify and thus optimally adapt to your specific application.

Frame size 100: IM B5 (V1, V3) with standard flange of frame size 100 or IM B35 (V15, V36)
Housing: With ribbed, closed housing made of die-cast aluminum
End shield: Accurately fitting made of die-cast aluminum
Motor shaft: Made of free-cutting steel (1.0718), rust- or acid-resistant material (1.4104) is available as an option
Connecting elements: Are corrosion-protected or made of stainless steel
Sealing: All sealing points are designed according to the degree of protection
Shaft seal: Radial shaft seal, optional: labyrinth or special sealing rings
Painting: Machine paint according to RAL, optional: protective paints and special paints
Protection class: IP 56, higher protection classes on request
Mains inlet: terminal box, optional: cable glands etc. on request
Insulation system: winding in insulation class F
Motor protection: temperature sensors or thermal contacts can be installed optionally
